Relationship Matters

Bringing Mindfulness, Wisdom and Compassion to all our Interconnections

A Mindfulness Retreat in the Tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh

Friday, May 22, 2020 through Monday, May 25, 2020

I have arrived

Our relationships with others can be a source of great happiness and fulfillment, but they can also be very challenging. So often we hear that in order to have healthy relationships with others, we need to love ourselves, but is that even achievable? And if it is possible, what can we do to make it a reality? Our teacher will be providing instruction during the retreat on this theme, as well as on how to be in relationship without grasping. Instruction on the concrete practices of deep listening and loving speech will also be provided.

Lay Teacher: Michael Ciborski

After ordaining as a monk under Thich Nhat Hanh and living and training for 7 years in the Plum Village Monastery (France), Michael returned in 2003 to the US, where he helped to establish MorningSun, a spiritual community & mindfulness centre. He continues to teach and lead retreats all over North America. For more about Michael, see his webpage Teaching and support in Mindfulness Practice and Meditation.
